If you had to identify yourself on a scale where one is “I’m a loner” and five is “I have to be with people” what number would you give yourself?
Different people have different needs for the amount of human interaction they feel they need. The interaction can be casual, and on the surface, or it can be intentional and revealing from deep within. To a large degree, we can control the level of interaction that keeps us in our comfort zone. Good things may happen, however, when we are willing to test that zone a little, and Jesus set that example for us.
What are the risks of being open to new or deeper relationships? As we relate to one another, we will find that our human nature will create challenges to address. Here are five ways to be prepared to address these challenges!

- Be intentional to reach out in love.
How would this change of approach impact your relationships?
- Show respect and honor to others.
How could this thought impact your relationship with co-workers, family, and faith family
- Forgive each other.
Be aware of opportunities to forgive rather than criticize, judge, or seek revenge.
- Share life with others.
Do you need to be more open and transparent with the people you care about? Can you transform a relationship that is simply task-oriented to one that grows a relationship?
