Thankful
"We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 1:2-3)."

Thanking God…always?
As a teacher I have instructed students that when the word “always” appears in the stem of a question to be cautious! Our Lord encourages us to “thank God always” for people in our lives!
Thank you, God, for those who irritate me…so I am humbled to reach out in grace and kindness.
Thank you for the person who asks so many questions as I try to complete a project. The project is better for the questions.
Thank you, Lord, for the many interruptions today that have caused me to take deeper breaths to rely on your goodness…to know that you are God and I am not!
Thank you, Lord, for each member of our family that cause both rejoicing in your plan for their lives, and to thank you for the many blessings that they share with others!
Thank you for friends who are living today in the midst of a pandemic but choosing to stay sheltered in place to protect our community!
Thank you for our faith family that is learning to be “virtual” and rely on you Lord for the many blessings of koinonia!
Thank you for work that is enough for this day! For the many people who are working hard to find a solution…for those who are not able to work right now…help each of us to share in some manner!
4832 Pondering:
Work produced by faith…labor prompted by love…and endurance to see this through! Lord have mercy on all the workers on the front lines this day! For all those in harms way of COVID19! For all those with worries about where the next meal will come from…if the house payment will be paid!
We thank you, Lord, for those who are seeing and hearing the cries of your people in pain and distress! We ask that you comfort and encourage! Help each of us to be your light…today, tomorrow and always to our hurting world!

As a point of clarification..... Those symbols started out as 3 sets of hands raised in praise followed by Cross inside heart .... learn something new every day :)
